Military spouses move. And move. And move again. … But one comfort of each move was knowing that I would be able to find a job in the residential property management industry at the next duty station, because there are apartments everywhere — no matter where you end up.

Your military experience makes you well-suited for a job in RPM.

Military experience teaches the technical skills that translate well to a career as a maintenance technician, as well as the human resource and operations management skills that community manager and apartment industry supplier jobs require.

Many companies offer training for the military community, such as Equity Residential’s Military Personnel Training Program and Lincoln Military Housing.
