You have to have a willingness to go where the day takes you. As you acquire new experiences and come in contact with different people, pick up the knowledge that they have to offer.

I love that my current position offers flexibility and also challenges me. Every RPM position I’ve held — from leasing consultant to marketing director — has been both exciting and rewarding.

I started in RPM as a groundskeeper. Now I’m a senior service manager! My advice to someone who is just starting out in a maintenance position is to get involved and learn the industry.

Be prepared. Since each day is different, being prepared for whatever the day may bring will aid you in learning more about the industry and yourself.
